Biography

I have obtained my qualifications, B.Sc. in the field of chemical engineering and M.Sc., and Ph.D., in the field of polymer engineering. I graduated with a master’s degree from Tarbiat Modares University, one of the top-notch universities in Iran, in 2014. Since I was really interested in doing scientific research, I studied for my Ph.D. at Tarbiat Modares University from 2014-2021. During these years, I received considerable experience and knowledge in the field of polymer engineering. Also, I have been working at Behieneh Poushesh Jam Company from 2014 up to 2022 as a R&D manager and production line supervisor. Additionally, as an academic and industrial person, I am interested in collaborating with the industry to employ my knowledge in practice. My postdoctoral fellow project is related to polymer processing-based recyclable polymer under the co-supervision of Dr. Mohammad Arjmand and Dr. Abbas Milani. As a result, this project aims to recycle plastics. In other words, this project is going to be part of the climate change solution by recycling plastics that are carbon negative, non-toxic, and biodegradable, with engineered grade quality.

Education

  • Ph.D. Department of Polymer engineering, Tarbiat Modares University, Iran
    • Thesis: Investigation and modeling of nonlinear viscoelastic behavior of branched polymers with different number of branches
  • M.Sc. Department of Polymer engineering, Tarbiat Modares University, Iran
    • Thesis: Performance Improvement of Uniaxial Extensional Rheometer at Low Strain rate

Research Interests

I have always wanted to do research at the highest level in an international academic environment since I started my academic career and nothing in my life can satisfy me more than doing research on the advanced subjects related to polymer engineering. And my research interests relate to the following topics:

  • Polymers Processing
  • Rheology of polymer
  • Polymer nanocomposites
